I'll Regret it Tomorrow.

You all know this feeling. You're sitting at home the night before you really want to go fishing and the weather forecast calls for rain, high winds, or really low temperatures. You decide that you're not going to go fishing even though you really want to. Instead, you'll check off a few of the "honey do's" tomorrow. But, by 9am you're found staring at tree tops and checking out the pastel shade of blue that the sky has been painted. You're not caught in the moment enjoying the foliage and pretty colors of the heavens, you're noticing that the wind isn't moving the leaves and rain isn't falling from the sky. That's when it hits you that you know that the weather forecasters are full of it and that you should have prepped the boat last night for a day of fishing.

As I sit here, checking the most up to date weather forecasts, I am just preparing myself for such a realization as this. I'll be agitated when this happens tomorrow morning but I will just remind myself that I've been on the water 8 of the last 10 days and tell myself that the fish deserve a break.
